Tips and Tricks for Setup...
Pitch Control Rod Length
Some people have inquired as to why their CP won't lift off the ground once they put on the Plasti-Blades. Here is the simple fix for that issue. All you need to do is increase the pitch control rod length as shown below. You should see about 4 threads separating the two inside edges of the ball links where the threaded rod is exposed. The overall length is shown below.
Avg. rod length from end to end: 25mm
This is the setup for the pitch control rods that most Blade CP's require when flying on the stock battery. This was where I had mine set on both my Blade CP's and they flew great with the stock battery and stock 10T motor.
Tail boom Upgrade
I went to the local hobby shop and bought a 3/16" aluminum tube to replace the CF tail boom on my stock CP. This works the same as the tail boom you get with the CNC frame from www.flighttechusa.com It is a mod that will reduce breakage on random boom strikes people are having on crashes and hard landings.
